Casa De Todos and Epa Nui
When we were remodeling Cien Palmas and got to the furnishing stage (our favorite part of the whole process) we had little to no options for furniture (plus everything was shut down due to the pandemic!) We found ourselves having to take multiple trips to Los Cabos and La Paz in order to be able to furnish the casitas, so when we found out Casa De Todos - a furniture gallery representing Mexican creatives was opening up we strolled on in opening day! And well, you see the pics, everything is breathtakingly beautiful.
The owners are the coolest, they traveled the world with their children before deciding to create something here in Todos Santos. Owner Clovis, a super awesome, laidback guy who spent years in Los Angeles in furniture designs for Hollywood sets now only works with Mexican Furniture Designers, Clovis is also a furniture maker and although he himself isn’t of Mexican decent he only uses wood and materials from Mexico. Everything in Casa De Todos showroom is unique, high quality, modern yet authentic Mexican.
Celine, Clovis’ wife runs Epa Nui - a sustainable vegetarian food to-go shop right across from the showroom. She is so sweet and inviting. She told us stories of their travels and how while living in Los Angeles she would teach students in schools about gardening, vegetables, why and how to eat healthy. Everything in Epa Nui is organic using mostly local produce from Todos Santos. It is an open kitchen that draws you in with the delicious smell and inviting attitude projected by the owners. They only use recyclable jars, which they pay you a refund for when returned for re-use.
This family owned business is just the raddest, but they also have a cool partner! Clovis’ childhood friend Richard has helped their family open up and run this shop location. Richard is also a world traveler that has started up and managed several different hotels and restaurants in places such as France, California, Bali and Australia. Richard first discovered Todos Santos in 1992, fell back in love with the pueblo magico and decided to help his long time friend open up an awesome concept store here! Definitely go and check out all the ‘Hecho en Mexico’ furniture and pick up some healthy food to-go! One of our favorites is the broccoli arugula soup.
They are located at Colonia, Camino a las Playitas Km 1.1, Las Tunas, 23300 Todos Santos, B.C.S . You can also visit their website casadetodosbaja.com and follow along at @casadetodosbaja
