Tequila Town

Right in the middle of Todos Santos you will find Tequila Town, a Tequila and Mezcal boutique specialty store. They carry over 200 brands of Tequila making it one of the biggest selections in Baja Sur. All bottles sold here are artisanal and supports a family run business.

Rolando and Joanna Franco, newlyweds, originally from Cabo run the new Tequila Town. (They also run and own Paralelo 23°, a mens clothing store and Hooligans Barber Shop located on the same street as Cien Palmas!) Their customer service is outstanding — with so many bottles to choose from, Rolando and Joanna make it easy by offering flight tastings of Tequila or Mezcal. They passionately explain the different agaves, history, aromas, taste, distilling process and all the other complexities that come along in making this incredible Mexican spirit.

Not only will you gain some knowledge and a buzz but a lot of the bottles sold are collectables and a work of art. Most brands they carry use creative bottling like the ones pictured in this post — Yes the gold jaguar is a tequila bottle!

Since discovering this gem (just opened last summer) we no longer buy commercial, over produced Tequila or Mezcal from our local grocery store. Knowing we support a family run business who passionately and patiently produces their tequila makes sipping on that Mezcal that much better.
